One might be tempted to go online and just buy a policy based on the rate quoted that saves a few bucks. But if so, realize you're just another sale and what happens when you need someone? The power of an agent cannot be overstated. The power of an experienced, patient and knowledgeable agent is critical. Steve helped us move from the biggest carrier in the business where the agent could have cared less about our needs and where the company had incorrectly rated some of our previous claims - unbeknownst to us, jacking up our premium for years. Steve went the extra mile to work with the new carrier to correct the ratings, restoring discounts I'd previously had my whole driving history. He didn't have to invest all that time as he didn't know us. But he did. It wasn't just about saving some money - it was about treating his (new) customers right. What you are doing right: Unlike almost every other business, when I call your office a real human being answers the phone. Virtually every time I call I do not need to ask whether the person who answered the can respond to my inquiry because your staff is very knowledgeable and experienced.
